What makes a man handsome? What makes a woman pretty?. There are many aspects to consider. First, there is our concepts of beauty and attractiveness.For me a woman is pretty when she is usually neat. a man can be handsome if he is always clean and tidy. Second,when you are always interested in your appearance. A handsome man is an elegant man. A pretty woman is someone who cares about her look, a nice make up, hair style, etc. What about you? What is your opinion?

I agree with you ruben .I think the appearance is very important for both…in my opinion the man need to have a sexy body too.

i’m completely agree with this topic but in my case i think men are particulary handsome when they know how to talk with woman .let me give you some examples.
man: not to use offensive words, when they’re talking with woman, because in my personal opinion, most of woman, don’t like to listen that kind of offensive words.
woman:in case of girl, im think all of them are very beauty. 😉

Hi teacher Ruben. I think you’re right about the appearance. I agree with you. For me a handsome man have to be attractive… well the things women want in a man….tall,strong,athletic…it’s good but is not everything. The personality and the intelligence are others things that women looking in a man. There is no perfect man, but perfect for each woman YES…the women have many aspects to consider…
Also I think the women always try to be pretty . It’s something natural for women. Maybe some women are a little untidy but I think all the women are pretty….

Hi Ruben. In the first place i want to congratulate you, because i think that you have a really nice blog.
In the second i wanted to apologize for not visiting your blog on time,this week i have been very busy.
Well, now i just want to tell you that i completely agree with you. Especially the part that says that we all have our own concepts of beauty,that is true. Well in my opinion the most important aspects in a man are the intelligence, the personality and maybe the looks.I know that this is something like the impossible combination but I CAN DREAM.
I think that a girl is pretty when she is smart, but if we see from the male point of view, i mean most men prefer girls who have pretty face and nice body, but they have to understand that beauty is not everything, maybe she has bad feelings and when they discover that they’ll be sorry, and as you said in class, some girls don’t care about their appearance.
Finally,for me,all men and women have beauty but they can’t find it yet.

Hi Ruben. I’m Andrea Bulnes Acevedo, In this topic I think the inner beauty and the physical beauty should be of great balance for me to consider a man handsome or a pretty woman. For example in the physical beauty, i think man should have a nice smile and beautiful eyes. And woman should have nice hair or slender body. Also maybe the face in woman for some people is no important as the body.But this isn’t the idea for everyone. In the inner beauty,i think man should be intelligent , so i will hold a nice conversation, and also man should be honest and have a good sense of humor. And the woman should have good personality and the character , but those are important in both.

Hi Ruben, i agree with you about the reasons that make a man handsome and a woman pretty, physically. But also a man has to be respectful, he has to know how to behave with a woman, he has to be retailer, gallant and romantic; he needs to know to make a woman feel unique.
A woman must know how to behave in all situations, she has to be beautiful in all aspects, intelligent, practical and respectfull. she can’t look like a man.

I agree with you, Ana, if a man doesn’t know behave with a woman and how to talk to her, she won’t like him. When a man have to talk to a woman; in the first place, he has to have good ideas and intelligent coments, in the second he has to know about the topic, so he has to be smart and he has to know how to express his ideas.
All of these are important, but also a good appearance makes a man and a woman beauty; they have to take care about their looks. For one thing, a woman won’t date a man who doesn’t know how to dress, because it shows his personality; for another, a man won’t date a woman who smells bad.

some people belive that, men are handsome or women are pretty because they relate to the physical, but isn`t true, for one think i believe that if you have a good personality and you have care of your appearance, you always can be interesting and very attractive. for another if you are a good professional and intelligent you will have good oportunities, in conclusion: people are very attractive when they have good personality and they care their appearance.

well I agree with you , but I think a woman is beautiful when she is an educated person why? … fisrt of all she must know to behave in public , second of all She must be a delicated woman . but I believe a men is atracttive when he is a succesful person .. why ?.. for one thing women looks for a smart man , for another a woman likes to have facilities , but this is my opinion .. Hi teacher. i agree wuith you.But, I would like to add some idea.In my opinion a man is handsome when the outward appearance of man, no matter how flattering it is, does not mean much if he is reckless in its reasoning. If you are proud, rude, rude and ignorant, does not attract people the leaves. If your state that is ungrateful manner, can certainly be a cause of stumbling to others.And a women the beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, or the body she has, or how to comb his hair. the beauty of a woman must be seen in her eyes. Why this is the door of his heart, the place where love resides.Also a beauty of a woman is not in facial expression, but the real beauty of a woman is reflected in her soul. Is the love that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows.

Hi,ruben ,well i believe that some men are careless ,it’s so bad for us for this same reason, sometimes don’t get good dating.The most of women set in these details.
